1 Year on GAPS, and we haven’t suffered a bit!

by brenda on January 7, 2011

When most people think of losing weight and getting healthier, they think of portion control and tasteless meals. We haven’t done any portion controlling, and our meals have been super yummy! Here’s a snapshot of some of the foods we have eaten over the last year.

Many of these recipes can be found in my cookbooks, A Whole Food Holiday and Thanksgiving Leftover Recipes. Keep in mind that these recipes can be cooked throughout the year!

I love how you pre-cut up the veggies for your fajitas. Did you freeze them in the glass jars too?

Hi Katie! Yep, I froze them in glass jars! I’m not crazy about plastic, so I freeze in glass whenever I can. I’ve been collecting glass over the years–garage sales–walmart–the honey store in Gladstone–all great places for glass! I also buy foods in glass on purpose and keep the jars!
