Orange Cantaloupe Smoothie

This is another area where my taste buds have grown up: cantaloupe. I never liked it, ever. I can tolerate it now, and even enjoy it in a smoothie like this! Simple & refreshing, and a great addition to breakfast–or perfect for an afternoon thirst quencher/energy booster after being in the sun! (Or, don’t add the ice and pour it into popsicle molds for a frozen treat!!)

Orange Cantaloupe Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 cantaloupe
  • 4 oranges
  • 2 c ice

Instructions

  1. Remove the rind of the cantaloupe and scoop out the seeds.
  2. Cut into large chunks. Peel the oranges, remove seeds.
  3. Place the cantaloupe, oranges and ice into a Vita Mix, in order, and puree until smooth.
